Hi, I’m Phill, a cinematographer and specialised camera operator with a strong focus on cinematic storytelling in outdoor, documentary and brand environments.
My passion for film began early, after seeing a National Geographic film in an IMAX cinema as a child. That experience sparked a lasting fascination with nature, movement, and visual storytelling – influences that continue to shape my work today.
With a background in documentary filmmaking and over 15 years of experience in movement-based disciplines such as Parkour and rollerblading, I bring a unique physical awareness to camera operation. This allows me to capture dynamic, immersive perspectives and controlled movement in challenging environments.
I work across land, ocean and remote outdoor locations, combining cinematic composition with practical, real-world production experience. Whether operating solo or collaborating with creative teams, my approach is always story-first, technically precise, and grounded in authenticity.
I am currently based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, and available to work nationally and internationally.

My work lives where movement meets environment - from aerial perspectives and fast, ground-level motion to the quiet intensity of the underwater world. I specialise in capturing cinematic images that feel immersive, physical and unexpected, often placing the camera where it doesn’t usually go.
With a background in documentary filmmaking, marine biology and over 15 years of movement-based disciplines, I approach camera operation with a strong sense of body awareness and control. This allows me to work fluidly with drone-based cinematography and specialised stabilised rigs, moving the camera through space in ways that feel natural, immersive and unexpected.
I’m drawn to projects that push beyond controlled spaces and into real environments — remote landscapes, ocean depths and fast-moving action. Whether operating solo or as part of a team, my focus is always on story-first visuals that feel authentic, grounded and alive.
